Job Description
Financial Reporting & General Ledger (GL) Management
Prepare and maintain accuratefinancial statements, trial balances, and management reports .
Oversee theGeneral Ledger (GL), ensuring proper classification and reconciliation .
Ensure timelymonthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing .
Assist inconsolidated financial reportingfor multiple entities, if applicable.
Preparevariance analysis reportsand provide insights to management.
Ensure compliance withMalaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)and regulatory requirements.
Audit & Compliance
Assist instatutory audits , liaising withexternal auditorsand ensuring timely submission of audit deliverables.
Implementinternal controlsto strengthen financial reporting integrity.
Ensure compliance withtax regulations , includingSST, withholding tax, and corporate tax .
Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings.
Accounts Reconciliation & Month-End Closing
Perform detailedGL reconciliations , including bank, supplier, and intercompany accounts.
Review and reconcileAP, AR, and accrualsto ensure financial accuracy.
Monitor and analyzecost allocations, project expenses, and provisions .
Ensure accuracy injournal entries, adjustments, and reclassifications .
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in thebudgeting and forecastingprocess, working closely with department heads.
Monitor budgetvs.
actual performanceand provide variance analysis.
Support cash flow projections and financial planning.
Process & System Enhancement
Recommend and implementprocess improvementsfor financial reporting efficiency.
Assist infinance system enhancements and automationfor better reporting accuracy.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence toSOPs and financial policies .
Work closely withproject teams, procurement, and operationsto ensure accurate financial reporting.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, includingauditors, tax agents, banks, and company secretaries .
Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
Undertake other assigned tasks as required.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, or professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA and MIA.
1 year renewable contract position as a start, will convert to full time employment if performing well.
Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, based at Bandar Bukit Puchong.
