Why does this job exist and why is it critical? 1. Manage a set of client accounts assigned, consistently identify and develop sustainable business opportunity. 2. Establish solid client relationship & build strategies and engagement plans to maximise Maxis relationships within agencies to ultimately deliver value to customers, including mapping decision makers & influencers at the Melaka and Neg Sembilan government agencies and driving deep and win –win relationships. 3.Pitch & communicate Maxis converged solutions to deliver sales performance to monetise Maxis revenue potential within Melaka and Neg SembilanGovernment agencies (which has been defined by Maxis). Ensure consistent communications with client on Maxis latest offerings, solutions and technology updates. 4. Leveraging world class sales planning tools to optimize the sales of converged solutions which will include ensuring account plans & opportunity roadmaps, while leveraging world class CRM tools for sales planning. 5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (presales, product, marketing, solutions, channel team, network etc) in deal engagement & closure, and ultimately orchestrate communication and collaboration between cross functional Maxis teams and customers. 6. Plan, organize & execute sales initiatives; events, roadshows, courtesy visits, etc. Job Requirement Formal Education Tertiary education in relevant field of study Work Experience Ideal candidate should be with minimum 5 – 10 years of progressive experience in ICT/Technology/Telco key account management and/or sales Selling Telco/ICT solutions to Government agencies
- regional experience outside Klang Valley sector is an added advantage Results orientated as demonstrated by a track record of aggressively growing businesses and meeting targets. Skills/ Knowledge High level ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences with strong presentation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. Great knowledge about Telco, ICT, IOT, product and solutions. Strong communication skills, PR skills, strategic skills, execution skills, charismatic skills and general skills.
