Account Senior Executive

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Manage and supervise the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Perform financial analysis and provide insights to assist in decision-making and business strategy. Ensure timely submission of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations. Coordinate and manage audits, both internal and external, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Monitor cash flow, manage budgeting processes, and ensure efficient financial planning. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial documents prepared by junior staff. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities. Requirements: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role. Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, AutoCount) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Solid understanding of Malaysian tax laws, financial regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
