Accounting Analyst

Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation and posting of journal entries to the general ledger.
Ensure all journal entries are supported with proper documentation.
Support our finance team in matters pertaining to monthly financial closing, general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Ensure consistency in accounting operations across the group.
Ensure data accuracy in the accounts and compliance with accounting standards.
Perform reconciliations of accounts and ensure that schedules relating to amortization, depreciation, accruals, prepayment are timely maintained.
Work with in-house accounting team and the regional/global teams on Statutory vs IFRS differences.
Assist in local and group audits including liaising with external and internal auditors.
Ensure compliance to Statutory and Financial deadlines.
RequirementsMinimum 5 years of operational accounting experience.
Experience with general ledger function and month-end close process is mandatory.
Diploma/Degree in Accounting/ACCA or equivalent.
Written and spoken ability to communicate in English fluently.
Hands-on experience of IFRS for APAC countries is a plus.
Experience in the Payment industry is a plus.
