We strive for execution excellence while being direct, humble, collaborative, and inclusive of diverse perspectives.AMD together we advance_JOB DETAILS:Location:Penang, MalaysiaOnsite/Hybrid:This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in a hybrid work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.Duration:6 months commitment starting Feb 2025KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform month end and year end close review for both US GAAP & Local GAAP, including accruals, prepayment amortization, deposits, inter-company charge back, audit adjustment and miscellaneous journal entriesMaintenance of Inter-company sub-ledgerPreparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliation for those accounts under GL's ownershipPrepare Balance Sheet Package (BSP) for review with Site Controllers and corporatePerform bank reconciliation for both BoA and local banksPreparation and review of interim and year-end EY audit schedulesLead & manage projects / assignments and process improvementsInvolve in KPI and metrics tracking and measurementPrepare reports and presentation decks for management and business partnersPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Proactive, detailed oriented and solid analytical skillsEffective communication skills with good spoken and written EnglishIndependent, assertive, creative and ready to work in a changing environmentSelf-motivated, a team player and able to work under tight deadlinesACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or any equivalent accounting professional qualificationLOCATION:Penang, Malaysia#J-18808-Ljbffr
