Accounting Officer

•Position: Accounting Officer. •Work location:Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya. Chrisjac are currently looking for a all-rounder junior Accounting officer to assist with accounts payable and receivable functions on a permanent basis in Kelana Jaya. This position is permanent full time based at Kelana Jaya area. The job role This is an entry level position open for fresh accounting diploma graduate or those who have acquired 1-2 years of experience in accounting. The role of Accounting Officer is a permanent full-time position based at Kelana Jaya in PJ. In this role, you will be providing support to the Senior Accounts Executive by looking after accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. The job task will involve: •Processing of accounting payable and Receivable activities. •Ensuring debtor and creditor transactions are processed,including data entry input in the system. •Validating volume of invoices by entering/data input and coding supplier invoices. •Reconciling creditor accounts. •Preparing and raising sales invoices. •Collection of overdue accounts by telephone and E-mail communication. •Filing and maintaining accurate accounting records in the system. Candidate: Skills & Experience •Female in age group 21-30; positive outlook, hardworking and pro-active nature. •Qualification: LCCI Diploma in Accounting or Book Keeping. •Ideally have 1-2 years of accounting experience in logistics or any other industries. •Intermediate to advance level of MS Excel and Word. •EDI Cargowise experience will be highly regarded although not mandatory. •Good communicator with proficiency in English is required.
