Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedAccounts Executiveto join our Finance department in a company specializing in the trading of engineering products.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Set of Accounts Management:Prepare and maintain the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) in compliance with accounting standards.Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:Process supplier invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payments.
Manage customer invoicing, monitor collections, and follow up on overdue accounts.
Reconcile supplier and customer statements to ensure accuracy.Tax and Compliance:Prepare and submit SST returns, corporate tax filings, and other statutory requirements.
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities as needed.Payroll and Expenses:Process payroll, including calculations for salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
Manage employee expense claims and reimbursements.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.Ad Hoc Tasks:Assist with any ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned by management.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., MIA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in handling full sets of accounts, preferably in the trading, manufacturing, or engineering industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and other MS Office applications.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
