About the roleWe are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Accounts Executive (Junior) to join our dynamic team at SNJ Engineering and Construction Sdn Bhd in Desa Parkcity, Kuala Lumpur.
This full-time role will be responsible for managing the company's financial records and ensuring accurate bookkeeping and accounting.
What you'll be doing
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger, financial reporting
Prepare budgets and process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
Support the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and accurate financial processes
What we're looking for
Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably in a small or medium-sized business
Ability to communicate fluently in Chinese is a must
Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
Proactive and able to work independently and a good team player
Highly-organised, and committed to delivering high-quality work
