Accounts Manager

About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the financial accounting and reporting functions for our growing business.
As Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
This is a full-time position based in Semenyih, Selangor.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Ensuring accurate record-keeping and maintaining the general ledger
Reconciling bank statements and managing cash flow
Overseeing the preparation of tax returns and liaising with external auditors
Monitoring and reporting on key financial metrics and performance indicators
Providing financial advice and support to the management team
Supervising and mentoring the accounting team
What we're looking for
Degree in Accounting or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in a similar Accounts Manager or Senior Accountant role
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting standards
Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with the manufacturing or construction industry is preferred
