This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with experience managing Canadian accounts payable processes and working with local stakeholders.Your New Role
Accurately processing and coding invoices in the accounting system while ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations and policies.
Preparing and managing payments, including wires, ACH transfers, and checks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Reviewing, verifying, and processing employee expense reimbursements and reports using Nexonia.
Acting as the primary point of contact for Canadian vendors, managing inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and reconciling accounts.
Maintaining vendor records, including banking information updates, while ensuring accuracy and security.
Assisting with year-end and government audits, preparing reports, and supporting other financial processes as needed.
Investigating payment issues, such as uncashed checks, and resolving them in collaboration with banks and vendors.What You'll Need to Succeed
Prior experience in an accounts payable role with Canadian stakeholders, including vendors, banks, and auditors.
Strong understanding of Canadian financial regulations, compliance, and tax codes.
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with vendors and internal teams.
