The Role The purpose of this role is to ensure that supply of Components (Additives) is planned in the most effective and efficient manner to deliver these aims. As such, the incumbent has the task of ongoing change management to reconcile the changing requirements of the region/cluster and customers with the the operational efficiency and effectiveness of material/component supply.
• Deliver Working Capital benefits via optimum Scheduling & DDMRP, and ensuring DIO (Days Inventory Outstanding) is within KPI
• Track and monitor inventory level
• Submit and monitor forecasts to suppliers
• Ensure delivery of materials based on production lead-time and customer's requirements, with Customer OTIF (On Time In Full) meeting target
• Comply with DDMRP O8 requirements
• Place Purchase Order according to required quantity and standard lead-timeTrack and monitor the delivery of high-quality products to our customers
• Track and monitor CAR performance
• Support quality team for root-cause analysis of CAR cases
• Provide Data inputs to Contract Manager
• Record value leakage in Additive
• Track monthly air-freight, detention, demurrage and write-off
• Focal for transition plan and management of change (i.e. BCI/BCW - Business Case Introduction & Withdrawal)
• Accountable for maintaining all master data reflected in DDMRP O8, Spotfire and LPC (Lubes Product Costing)
• Connect with O8 super users and finance to prevent master data errors
• Supply Chain Professional with at least 5 years experience in Operational Planning and Scheduling
• Strong prior experience in Component management (Baseoil, Additive or Packaging supply) and understanding of LOBP operational capacity
• Good communication skills to people at all levels and interface with businesses outside LSC e.g. Contract & Procurement, Product Management, HSSE
• Ability to distil complex information and see the big picture - DIO versus Supply Security; Lead Time versus Freight Optimisation
• Ability to identify and respond quickly to changing priorities and multi-task
