The Role The primary role of the Administrative/Senior Administrative Executive, Grants and Opportunities is to support the Senior Manager, Grants and Opportunities in sourcing and managing high quality grant fundings and research opportunities to achieve Monash University Malaysia’s research targets, objectives and aspirations. Key Responsibilities * Support the Senior Manager, Grants and Opportunities in sourcing and securing possible sources of grant fundings and other research opportunities to enhance Monash University Malaysia's research performance. * Support the Senior Manager in establishing and maintaining strategic collaboration with key stakeholders. * Lead/Support the periodic collecting, analysing and summarising of data related to grant fundings and other research opportunities. * Coordinate/Support/Organise information sessions on grant fundings and other research opportunities for Monash University Malaysia's community. * Coordinate/Manage the lodgement of research grants, projects and other research opportunities in an efficient and effective manner and ensure that the lodgements are meeting the prescribed requirements of the funding bodies/agencies. * Support the Senior Manager in delivering training to School and Platform research administrators to support the excellent and efficient management of external research grants, projects and other opportunities. * Support other areas of the Research Excellence Unit by adopting flexible and innovative working arrangements as and when required. Requirements * A degree or equivalent (desirable). * Demonstrated commitment to innovation and reform. * Demonstrated ability to provide high quality service delivery. * Good written and oral communication skills. * Well developed skills in the use of digital technology, including online platforms for collaboration and work management.
