Nature of Role Admission officers work in processing recruitments and communicating with students and parents. As front liners, Admission officers will represent the Fairview International School in promotion, organising events and campus visits. He/She will be responsible for growing and maintaining relationships which will lead to smoother enrolments, better customer service and higher retention rate. He/She will be trained in human relations and develop communication as well as problem solving skills. Dimensions of the Role Local/International Recruitment -Participate and assist in recruitment and promotional visits both overseas and in Malaysia. -Conducting student interviews to assess and advise on admission potential. -Providing support, admission-related information updates and ensuring all stakeholders are updated on key developments and close working relationships are maintained at all times. Managing Student Enquiries -To respond to all enquiries in a timely & positive manner via a variety of communication methods: email, telephone, letter and in person. -Inform and support students & parents at all stages of the enrolment process to ensure good quality and to develop a positive relationship. -To provide support in relation to the enrolment process, update and follow up with students/parents. On-campus Event -Manage specific projects/events under the direction of the Admission Officer / Head of Admission / Principal, to build good relationships within the school community. Administrative Support - To keep track of students database and to conduct relevant research. - To attend external meeting that is relevant to recruitment as required. Responsibilities: Main Responsibilities -Analyse the applications of prospective students based on standard admission policies. -Provide clarifications to student/parent's queries in a professional manner. -Advise students about the programs offered, admission procedure, eligibility and costs involved. -Attend to admissions enquiries, prepare and deliver appropriate presentations, assist in conducting admission tests and bring students through the admission process. -Participate in recruitment activities to promote the school in education fairs, roadshows, open days and any other promotional activity for the school. -Answer all calls and walk-in enquiries, follow-up on enquiries. -Support operation team with events related to student recruitment. -Provide reports on leads, applications as well as assist in tracking recruitment numbers/performance.
