Located in Kuala Lumpur, it has approximately 700 employees and provides functional services in the areas of Finance, Controlling, Information Services, Human Resources, Environment, Health & Safety, Procurement, and Import-Export Order Management to BASF companies and affiliates in 17 markets across Asia Pacific. BASF also has three other Shared Service Centers that cover Europe and the Americas, located in Berlin and Ludwigshafen, Germany, and Montevideo, Uruguay. Objectives of the Position Responsible for customer's credit risk management activities for assigned customer/country portfolio following global/regional guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure deliveries meeting requirements defined in KPIs for process efficiency, effectiveness and quality control.Provide back-up for other team members and contribute to best practices sharing in the teamSupport Senior Analyst and Team Lead in process improvement activities, digitalization, and other required tasks Main Tasks To manage following credit management tasks on behalf of all BASF legal entities based on market principle.Customer Master DataAct as Financial Gatekeeper to validate and approve new customer or any changes for existing customer include the agreed terms of paymentCoordinate with end user in case of further information requiredMaintain the credit master data in FSCMChecking regularly that customer portfolio is up-to-date, identifying inactive customers as well as carrying out deactivations by informing the responsible master data team and by changing the customer information in FSCMRisk AssessmentObtain necessary information needed to perform risk assessment to be shared to Senior Analyst (include external credit rating and customer data)Credit Limit validity monitoring and manage extensionOrder ProcessingReview and manage credit blocked sales orders on daily basisDecide on the release of blocked orders and obtaining necessary approvals (if required, depends on agreement)Monitoring & ReportingMonitor CCRM KPI and trend developmentsProvide necessary reporting and commentary for country, regional, and global on or before deadline in compliance with reporting requirementsMonitor credit risk of customers (limit usage, BASF Risk Rating, sales, etc.)Following up of outstanding invoices and unresolved dispute itemsMonitor overdue amounts and proactively improve overdue debt with close monitoring; escalate if the customer’s overdue situation becomes worsenedPrepare ad-hoc reporting required by BUs or relevant stakeholdersProvide back-up for other team members and contribute to best practices sharing in the teamSupport Senior Analyst and Team Lead in process improvement activities, digitalization, and other required tasks Requirements Education: Professional qualification in Finance (e.g. ACCA, CPA, etc.) or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting or related disciplinesWorking Experience: Minimum 2 years in Credit Management Function and/or Finance and Controlling.Good business acumen and analytical skillsGood at timely decision makingWork with high self-motivation, high reliability and responsibility, dedicated for outstanding performanceExcellent interpersonal skills, strong collaboration and communication skill, high integrityIT Skill: Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SAP and Business Warehouse, Data Analytic tools (PowerPivot, PBI, Tableau), interested in digitalization trend.
