What is the opportunity?
I & TS Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographic time zones. The country employs a global operating model to maximise efficiencies across time zones and supports a 24/5 operations.As an Analyst , Fund Risk Management Support, you are accountable for the quality of the Fund Risk Management Support activities delivered to clients and respect of the deadlines including provide support to the team on production related tasks, process enhancement and projects execution, this function has an impact on multiple locations and clients having funds distributed in Continental Europe.

Working hours: 10AM- 7PM/12PM – 9PM
What will you do?
To perform investigation and analysis on all exception identified in LDC, in case of breach, determination of the status (active or passive) as well as to perform review on the breach letter, BICMAN and ICED justification before releasing to Lux team.
To perform analysis and understanding on the client prospectus, information from External Data Provider (Bloomberg, Telekurs), including to analyze on the legal rules of UCITS and Legal requirements.
To perform and review the control for PCS fund, CSSF 2002/77, Liquidity Risk Reporting and Periodic Control.
To provide explanation and information to oversight team on any new breaches identified by the day through email communication.
To provide coaching and guidance to the team member of Fund Risk Management Support Team.
As the first level of escalation point to act as delegate of Supervisor and to support in any business migration including to prepare, generate and analyze risk reports.
Build strong working relationships with other internal departments including the Fund Accounting team and Luxembourg Risk Management team to achieve collective operational goals.
Support the identification of new technology and operational improvements to increase quality service, reduce costs and ensure accuracy
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Post-secondary education with an accounting/finance concentration or equivalent experience
Strong Technical & financial knowledge of risk management environment, investment strategies & regulatory framework (UCITS Directives, ESMA guidelines, European national laws applicable to UCIs) & best market practices applicable in continental Europe
Strong knowledge of financial products & derivatives instruments
Expertise in financial instrument eligibility analysis (target funds, structured products, index, etc.)
Good knowledge of cross location operations, systems & IT environment, Compliant to Rules & Procedures
Nice-to-have
Superior/Relevant Financial Education desirable
Good knowledge of Microsoft office (word/excel, access is an advantage)
Fluency in other languages such as French, German or Italian
Flexibility to work varying hours and bank holidays is highly desirable
