As a cornerstone of the HR community in the Azelis APAC region, you will play a vital role in building organizational and people capabilities while fostering positive changes in the business environment through Talent Acquisition.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of the startup phase of our Regional Global Business Services (GBS).
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support us in sourcing, identifying, screening, and hiring candidates for various roles across the Asia Pacific Region.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a passion for talent acquisition, and an eagerness to collaborate with and meet stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
A knack for developing sourcing strategies for potential candidates is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills for working closely across different departments.
Your primary focus will be on end-to-end talent acquisition activities.
You will work closely with regional stakeholders to align talent strategies with the company's strategic goals, ensuring both current and future talent contributes to our continued success.
As part of the broader APAC HR community, you will also collaborate with the local Malaysia HR team on employee engagement initiatives and participate in Azelis APAC HR projects, helping to drive people success and talent retention across the region.
ReportingThis role will report into the APAC HR team and will be based in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.AccountabilitiesTalent Acquisition Manage talent pipelines across multiple channels, including sourcing, screening, and referrals, to identify and engage top technical talent at all levels.Collaborate with the recruiting team (Hiring manager, coordinators) and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle to meet the organization's hiring goals.Ensure staffing quality and availability align with the evolving needs of the business and market demands.Actively support MDs and HR teams across the Asia Pacific Region on their hiring needs by leveraging on social and professional platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) and internal referrals to increase candidates pipeline, optimize time-to-hire and reduce recruitment costs.Implement Group recruitment quality standards, including utilizing diverse recruitment channels, conducting tests, and organizing assessment centers for management roles.Facilitate online assessments and interviews, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to hiring managers.Support and oversee the end-to-end process for work pass applications, if applicable.Negotiate salary packages and collaborate with the hiring team to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience.Build a comprehensive understanding of the business and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, hiring managers, and external partners.Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely updates and constructive feedback.Talent Acquisition OperationsDraft job descriptions, LOIs, contracts (from recruitment to onboarding), make sure these are executed and filed timely and correctly; assist the Line Managers and employees in all contractual matters;Collaborate with local and regional HR teams on payroll-related matters, if any, including sharing employment terms and conditions.Super-user responsible for maintaining data integrity on HRIS (Workday) and generating accurate reports on recruitment metrics such as job openings, time-to-fill, costs, and sources of hire; this includes creating and closing job requisitions and setting up job profiles for new hires.Provide Workday training to end users (e.g.
new hires).Employee RelationsIn collaboration with the regional and Malaysia HR teams to:Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization;Develop and implement initiatives to sustain and improve employee morale, commitment and satisfaction, in line with organizational and cultural changes (e.g.
employee satisfaction survey).First point of contact for line managers and potential talents: support and advise them on all matters related to Talent Acquisition and Onboarding;Ensure full compliance with local employment laws throughout the end-to-end Talent Acquisition process.OthersPrepare and consolidate statistics and reports as required.Support regional HR activities as required.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.At least 3 years in Talent Acquisition Experience in recruitment agency/ in-house talent acquisition.International experience/international exposure.Demonstrated expertise in the full recruitment lifecycle, including effectively engaging with the business to understand hiring needs, developing attraction strategies, sourcing candidates, screening and profiling, conducting interviews and selection processes, and managing offer proposals and negotiations.Fluent in English is a must-have (both verbal and written communication), other languages a plus.Prior experience with state-of-the-art HCM (i.e.
Workday or Success Factors) is an added advantage.Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and direction.Hands-on, highly organized, able to work well under stress, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Team-player with excellent people, communication and influencing skills: articulate, able to "tune in" to and successfully deal with different people at all levels.Proven project management skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization internally, as well as externally.The requirements of the job will develop and change due to the needs of the business and the employee will be expected to adapt to these changes.
