We?re looking for an Asset Engineer based in our factory in Seremban, Malaysia. Bring us your curiosity and a desire to challenge the everyday and we?ll give you lots of responsibility. You?ll help us improve, inject innovation and create new ways of working of working that span the whole world!
Your ?day to day?
As an Asset Engineer, you are responsible to plan and manage assets in a cost effective way. You will be tasked to ensure optimal equipment availability and reliability through assets? life cycle by developing and implementing of proper maintenance strategies, procedures and routines with focus to assets and maintenance performance.
You are accountable to initiate technical development, lead and participate in projects in order to improve safety conditions, quality and more effective use of equipment, spare parts & assets, including engineering design improvement initiatives.
Ultimately, you are responsible to drive continuous improvement projects, high productivity & excellent quality of assets and optimize operation costs.
Who we?re looking for
You will excel in Asset Engineer role should you have:
? University degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, & etc.) or any related disciplines; formal education in manufacturing and equipment maintenance is a plus
? Minimum 5 years of professional experience in maintenance and asset management of industrial equipment in manufacturing facility
? Solid working experience in asset management, project management, electrical systems, and safety management
? Well-developed critical thinking skills, with an ability to apply logic and challenge assumptions
? Strong team-work and collaboration skills with analytical skills
? Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
