Candidate will lead a pool of employees in local Finance Team
Responsibilities : Monthly Management Reporting
Participate in monthly closing
Prepare costing and adjustments
Generate and prepare accounts receivables and credit
Accounts Payables cleaning
Claims and reimbursements
Fixed Assets Management
Prepare Balance Sheet Schedule
Quarterly reporting to investors
Responsibilities : External Audit
Lead the annual audit process and work closely with the auditors
In charge for the finalization of audit, with minimum audit adjustments, meeting deadline set and comply with accounting regulations (eg. IFRS/MFRS)
Prepare draft audited accounts, review and ensure accuracy of the final audited financial statement
Responsibilities : Projects
Participate in continuous process improvements and formalization
Improve internal controls and implement policies
ERP system roll out
Ad-hoc projects requested by superior
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
At least 3 years of audit experience with and 2 years of commercial accounting
Must be a member of MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants)
Has had experience leading or co-leading team
Familiar with local audit requirements and local audit reporting
Experience working with ERP system will be an advantage
Team play and able to work independently in startup
Applicants must be willing to work in Subang Jaya
