ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts for Group reporting.
Oversee and develop finance processes to support the operations team.
Handle project ledgers and analyze actual results against budgets.
Establish and monitor an internal control framework.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, month-end closing, reporting, and financial analysis.
Prepare and submit local tax and statutory requirements.
Coordinate external and/or internal audits.
Attend to business function queries to provide data and/or analysis.
Manage ad-hoc accounting functions and assignments when required.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
Must be a chartered accountant or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
Sound knowledge of local statutory reporting requirements.
Hands-on experience in preparing a full set of accounts.
Good Excel skills; experience with SAP is an added advantage.
Good oral and written communication skills in English, Malay, and Mandarin (Mandarin is preferable for dealing with stakeholders).
Independent, meticulous, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.
