Assistant Finance Manager, Group Consolidation And Reporting

Assistant Finance Manager, Group Consolidation and ReportingResponsibilities:Responsible for the preparation and delivery of periodic consolidated management reporting, quarterly financial reporting, and other financial reporting.
Manage consolidated financial closing activities for timeliness, accuracy, and completeness including special transactions, local currency, and functional currency accounting processes.
Provide insights and variance analysis to management on consolidated results, identifying key trends and issues.
Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and ensure elimination entries are properly accounted for.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and Bursa Listing Requirements as well as filing deadlines.
Ensure accounting policies & procedures are applied consistently across the Group.
Assist in preparing reports for the Annual Report, board meetings, investors, etc.
Streamline and enhance the consolidation and reporting process to improve efficiency and reduce timelines while ensuring the integrity of the process and data.
Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for group consolidation and reporting.
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
Work closely with the accounting team and other business units to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience:Over 5 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 3 years in financial consolidation and reporting.
Preferably has work experience in a public accounting firm.
Strong technical accounting knowledge, including MFRS or other relevant standards.
Proven experience in managing multiple entities and group structures.
Skills:Proficient in Excel.
