Assistant Logistics Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:- Assist the Logistic Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of a fast moving environment.- Supervising warehouse, logistic staff and transportation and daily activities. (LW operation SP Plant)- Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times- Manage Manpower resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements and also Lean Manufacturing principles- Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company's procedures and requirements- Responsible for driving Standard Work, introduce and implement best practice and continuous improvement- Lead follow up, identify errors, eliminate root causes, implemented solution and resolve Customer concerns or operation issue- Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy and deliveries efficiency- Maintain training matrix and ensure employees are adequately trained and competent within their role to ensure operational flexibility- Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers, Initiate meeting internal and external whenever required- Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse and Logistic productivity and efficiency- Directly involved in SP operational activity and management- Factory excellent (competent person) for concrete and flat roof:- SAP power user - contact point for SAP related issue, material master maintaining- SAP project user acceptance test for any new project development- Schedule waste competent person for Plant**Requirements**:- Diploma or other professional certificate- Experience of operating in a supervisory capacity within a fast paced, highly pressurized warehouse and distribution environment- Computer literate with good skills- Strong people and performance management skills- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to establish logical and practical solutions**Job Type**: Permanent**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shiftSupplemental Pay:- 13th month salary- Performance bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Sungai Petani: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Logistics: 5 years (required)
