Responsibilities:Planning and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with the AML/ CFT requirements.
Regular assessment of the AML/ CFT mechanism such that it is effective and sufficient to address any change in ML/ TF trends.
Daily monitoring of all accounts of Hap Seng Credit (HSC) for cash threshold limit and irregular payments that trigger Red Flags.
Investigate and prepare STR (Suspicious Transaction Report) for submission to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).
To ensure On-Going Due Diligence of all accounts and all HSC staff due for review are done timely.
Prepare and plan training program for new joiners and existing staff.
To prepare and collect data for report (Data Compliance Report) to BNM.
To review and recommend system requirement to capture complete and accurate data for reporting purposes.
To support Business Centers appointed Compliance Officers.
To review existing AMLA documents e.g.
CDD/ EDD to comply to changes.
Act as a liaison to Group Compliance in relation to PDPA and any other compliance matters.
To identify overall inefficiencies, improve compliance, and strengthen operational processes.
To develop and implement policies and practices necessary for the Company to meet its obligations under the PDPA.
To develop compliance program to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of management controls/ SOPs.
Job Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
Candidates with AMLA certified e.g.
Certified Anti-Money Laundering & Counter Financing of Terrorism Compliance Officer (CAMCO) or any other related certification will be an added advantage.
Candidates must possess more than 3 years of working experience, preferably with background on AML/ CFT compliance functions or risk management or in audit or security documentation where strict compliance to T&C is required.
Possess ability to read and interpret documents such as BNM Policy Documents, government regulations, internal controls, and instruction manuals, including Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 or AMLA 2001.
Able to interact with team members at all levels of the organization professionally, including the ability to provide training to staff.
Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of an Anti-Money Laundering program within the company.
1 full-time position is available at Menara Hap Seng, KL.
Working Hours:Monday to Thursday : 9.00am to 6.00pm
Friday : 9.00am to 5.30pm
Alternate Saturday : 9.00am to 12.30pm
