Job Description
To ensure reliability and effectiveness of all functions and operations activities of plant control system instrumentation, including troubleshooting, modifications, and repairs and ensure the efficient running of the Engineering - Control & Instrumentation team.
Enforcing the company rules & regulations and implementation of ISO 9001/GMP requirement.
To ensure all safety procedures are followed.
To carry out daily walkabout of the plant instrumentation and control to ensure good housekeeping.
To carry site inspection function to identify potential breakdown or continuous improvement.
To lead the team in plant maintenance to ensure equipment are maintain according to standards and any plant machinery or equipment breakdown is attended to promptly and properly.
To work as a team within the department to resolve issues related to human resource or plant operation.
To work as a unit with the other departments to resolve any operational issues.
To propose solutions in process control through continuous improvement and machinery automation.
To be resourceful and oversee installation and testing of new control system and instrumentation.
To ensure inspection, planning and execution of maintenance task is carried out accordingly and timely manner.
To guide and monitor on technical solutions for all plant troubleshooting works in control system.
To ensure knowledge transfer on control system and instrumentation through documentation to ensure they are accurate and applicable to plant machinery according to best practices.
To review on regular basis Preventive maintenance program to ensure continuous operation of the plant.
To work with internal & external regulatory agency inspectors to correct any aspects of maintenance that is cited for inspection.
To review the quality system procedures and work instructions for the department.
To provide guidance to engineers and below to be well trained to carry out their functions effectively.
To conduct performance appraisals on subordinates.
To undertake any projects or tasks assigned by the superior.
At least 5-8 years? experience in control & instrumentation (Siemens S7) and vision system experiences.
Degree in Electronic Engineering.
Have proven records on operation excellent project handling and implementation.
To have strong people management experience.
