Job Description Job Title Assistant Manager / Senior Associate, Corporate Governance Location Malaysia Department Compliance Reporting to Director, Malaysia Direct Reports Not applicable Key Responsibilities Assist in carrying out the compliance function of the Malaysia corporate services business (regulated by Companies Act 2016, AMLA, MACC Section 17, Central Bank of Malaysia) Assist to implement and administer anti-money laundering and countering financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) policies and procedures Conduct Client Due Diligence for on boarding of new clients, including screening client through World Check and other on-line search facilities, and verification of client KYC documents Perform client risk profile to assign AML risk rating to structures and undertake periodic review of files based on clients AML risk rating Maintain Register of High Risk Clients, and monitor the transactions of such clients Carry out compliance monitoring program to ensure that the business is conducted in accordance with Group policies and procedures and relevant laws and regulations Deliver and track AML training to all staff Assist with compilation of data and preparation of reports for submission to Central Bank of Malaysia and Group Compliance Keep Senior Management up to date with new developments in the regulatory environment Ad hoc duties / projects as assigned by senior management Risk profiling for Anti Bribery Assisting client with best practice policy making, reporting and monitoring Creation of Master file (Viewpoint) review and monitoring Support any other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned Attributes/ Technical Skills Self-motivated and meticulous attention to details Team player with high degree of professional integrity, and a can-do attitude Relevant Experience 5 years work experience within the services industry Experience in AML/CFT regulations would be an advantage Education/ Memberships Recognized University Degree Computer Skills Proficient user of Microsoft Packages including Power point, Excel and Word
