Responsibilities: Interact and organize all SMT/Stamping/Assembly products based on BOM lists and materials availability by working closely with relevant purchasing team on the timely order of all SMT/PCA/ Stamping/Assembly required components and materials;
Manage and work closely with SMT/Stamping/Assembly operations on production build and delivery commits to achieve targeted OTD performance;
Assist or participate in SMT/Stamping/Assembly process activities in collaboration with both production and engineering team as and when necessary in order to ensure maximum yielded throughput;
Ensure the implementation of WIP and Inventory control limits trigger in the respective SMT/Stamping/Assembly manufacturing processes
Participate and lead in the use and execution of Production Planning & Control schedules and plans in order to ensure good OTD and Order Fulfillment management;
Provide analysis and troubleshooting of all production planning delinquent related issues by establishing the root cause(s) and ensure both short-term and long-term corrective actions are in place;
Ensure WIP, Inventory levels, and delivery performance indices are achieved as per targets set;
Ensure efficient management and control in the areas of material/wip/inventory integrity;
Organize and compile all necessary production planning related information so as to facilitate better analysis for shipment and delivery continuous improvements;
Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.
To coordinate shipment to customer and shipment document preparations.
Develop business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions.
Requirements:
Minimum Degree, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field of study and with SMT/Stamping/Assembly work experience;
At least 3 year(s) of SMT/Stamping/Assembly production planning and logistic experience and exposure in similar or related manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
Excellent communication and people management /interaction skills;
Matured and able to adapt in a fast moving, high volume manufacturing environment.
