The Role Responsibilities

Strategy
- Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model that is relevant to the role.

Business
- Support Country Head of CFCC and Head of CFCC Governance to set up and implement the vision, strategy, and Group and local strategic initiatives.
- Advise the designated support units about all applicable laws and regulations, and assist them to establish appropriate policies, manuals and procedures for their operations with due regard to all applicable Group requirements and regulatory requirements.
- Arrange / coordinate trainings to Unit Compliance Officer
- Implement and localize Group initiative, including policies /procedures and provide governance and oversight.
- Monitor regulatory developments to manage regulatory impact.
- Escalate compliance risk and regulatory breaches to senior management and track remediate actions.
- Perform monthly CST and ORF RRA for CFCC function and coordinate EORP LKCSA setup,
- Prepare Board paper and all risk reporting decks including ERC and CFCRC
- Co-work with Audit / Business Compliance / Business/Support function stakeholders to handle audit issues and corrective plans
- Cross-border engagement with Regional Compliance Assurance Team to conduct Compliance Assurance Reviews for Greater China %26amp; North Asia (GCNA) countries, including scoping, reviews,Âtesting and reporting.
- Coordinate semi-annual Regulatory Compliance Self-Assessment.
- Coordinate annual Bank-wide TCF self-assessment
- Coordinate annual Compliance Input
- Prepare annual Compliance Plan
- Participate in key projects for CFCC, such as Compliance Risk Assessment, Committee Effectiveness Review, etc.
- Ad-hoc assignment from Head of CFCC and/or Head of CFCC Governance

Processes

- Understand and comply with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing anti-money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions; the Group%27s policies and procedures; and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.

Regulatory %26amp; Business Conduct
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Co-work with the support units to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance;ÂThe Right Environment.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- FSC prescribed responsibilities and Rationale for allocation.
