Associate Director, New Product Development (Manager) | TNGWhat would you do?
Develop product strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new products.
This includes developing and prioritizing features, setting KPIs/ goals, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives, and managing post-launch performance including P&L.
Implement product strategy: Manage product development lifecycle: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
This includes working with agile development teams, managing timelines, budgets, and ensuring quality product delivery via owning and tracking release plans.
Manage product performance: Leverage data/ analytics and customer feedback to evaluate product performance, identify areas for improvement, propose and implement optimization plans.
This includes analyzing various metrics to make data-driven decisions.
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with various stakeholders – Tech, Operations, Customer Service, Sales/ Commercial, Marketing et al.
to ensure successful and timely product launches.
Partner management: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with relevant ecosystem participants, that facilitate proposition development and accelerate product delivery.
Market landscape: Conduct market research and keep abreast of industry developments, emerging trends/ themes, gaps to address, and technology advancements.
Translate research into actionable plans which inform product plans.
Product marketing: Collaborate with GTM teams to develop and execute marketing and acquisition strategies.
This includes crafting product messaging/ positioning, developing marketing collateral, launching and managing campaigns aimed at driving product uptake and lifting performance.
Compliance: Ensuring product compliance with all regulatory requirements, laws and regulations.
Other duties and tasks as assigned and/or as required.
Who should join us?
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of product management experience comprising development, launch and commercialization, gained at Fintech/ startups/ high growth companies/ banks.
Subject matter expertise in Mobility/ Transit/ Payments.
Persistent, highly adaptable and resilient – stays the course and remain focused on getting stuff done.
Resourceful and able to come up with solutions to work through process and ambiguity.
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills; uses data to drive decision making.
Self-motivated and able to work effectively within the team and across the organization with minimal supervision, working mainly independently to achieve goals agreed with leadership.
Able to co-ordinate activities by others and project manage within cross-functional project team.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Well-developed presentation skills, including the ability to effectively deliver information internally and externally at all levels.
Advance Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
