ID: 235901As a Supplier Manager in AT Capital Procurement, you will be the primary category point of contact for supplier interactions, performance management, and negotiations for the site(s). In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to build a comprehensive view of supplier performance for continued sourcing success and improvements. You will participate in and/or lead the development and implementation of category strategies and projects related to but not limited to cost of ownership reduction initiatives, supply base optimization, lead time reductions, and pricing/contract negotiations. You will also work with stakeholders and suppliers to resolve and prevent critical issues surrounding quality and delivery.This role requires close collaboration with Category Supplier Managers, Central Engineering, Planning/Industrial Engineering, and other stakeholders. You will support Taiwan operations and lab sites with their Capital Equipment, Service Support, and Spares needs. You will also work with suppliers and Micron’s Legal team to set up agreements that protect and support Micron’s current and future interests. The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience in semiconductor operations and equipment.Role Responsibilities & Tasks​Manage Supplier Relationship Act as primary point of contact for site suppliersPerform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliersMaintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while resolving supplier performance/capability issuesEnsure suppliers comply with Micron's code-of-conduct programs and corporate social responsibility initiativesCommunicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organizationProvide the voice of the supply base to Micron and provide the voice of Micron to the supply base Identify and Implement Supplier-Related Savings LeversUtilize data and should-cost models to drive cost improvementServe as the subject matter expert for site suppliers sharing knowledge with key stakeholders Drive Negotiations with Suppliers for Sustaining PurchasesLead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewalsCoordinate withCategory Supplier Manager on global negotiations or lead local/regional sourcing events / RFQ process.
