YYC is looking for a Audit Associate in conducting audits for SME companies, preparing working papers, draft tax computations, and group financial statements.
Liaises with clients, company secretaries, and tax agents, ensuring timely completion of audits and addressing outstanding issues efficiently.
Office is located at Sunway Tower, Jalan Ampang - 5 minutes from LRT Dang Wangi
Job Responsibilities:
Carry out audit jobs assigned by the supervisor within the timeframe given.
Prepare and finalize audit working papers and audit reports for SME companies.
Prepare audit planning for the supervisor to review before the commencement of audit work.
Assist seniors in preparing audit schedules and audit procedures.
Prepare draft tax computations and ensure adequate provision of tax liabilities.
Reply to the Manager's review points within the timeframe given.
Confirm the final audit reports with clients before release.
Follow up on any outstanding issues and letters from clients.
Liaise with company secretary, tax agents and other authorities to obtain statutory information required during the audit.
Prepare group financial statements.
Requirements:
Professional accounting qualification and/or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Partial professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent).
Fresh graduates or those with less than a year's experience in audit.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (preferred).
Mandarin-speaking is preferred, to liaise with the China market.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently and in a tight deadline environment.
Detailed and organized and can manage self well.
A good team player.
