Job Description
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Automation) or equivalent.
Required language(s):?English, Bahasa Malaysia
At least 4?Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Duties:
[Project] budget application, defining the machine specification, prepare the RFQ, source for suppliers, machine procurement, execute and hand over. This will always have the clear plan for both execute the project and monitor its progress.
[Continous Improvement] Study the process flow, understand the requirement, process and standard, then define the suitable system/machine to operate in the packing and logistic
[Project Execution] defining the project?s scope and determine and/or utilize available resources, and set time schedule that is realistic and according to business need.? This will then allow a clear and concise plan to both execute the project and monitor its progress.? Projects are natural demanding in regard to always improve on time schedule, therefore adjustments and agreement along the way as needed before the project reaches its final stages, is also necessary.? It is also necessary to know how to keep a project within its set budget, frequently review the budget and plan ahead to avoid massive budget overruns?
[Inspect & Analyse] Inspect and analyse existing equipment and machines processes using various methods such as gap analysis, pareto for losses, or PDCA.? This allows them to find opportunities for improvement as well as losses, which they can troubleshoot further to determine root causes?
[Develop] develop automated system standard design engineering database and explore more new technologies in the market
[Develop Strategies] Acts as internal consultant, develop short-term and long-term strategies for the equipment and machine to improve towards easy & safe to operates.? Their goal is to facilitate OEE and reduce costs, in term of easiness & safe to operate, vertical start-up time, and cost competitive solution?
[Hand-over documentation] Producing hand-over document which includes O&M manual, method statements, equipment list, circuit diagram, test reports, safety matrix, spare part list and others that is relevant. Follow-up after hand-over with operation and maintenance team to make sure the design is acceptable and equipment are working good without downtime.
