SOCAR aims to change the way people in South East Asia move around by becoming the biggest car-sharing platform in South East Asia. We are currently the biggest player in Malaysia and aim to scale out our product offering across more verticals and geographies.

Projects you will be working on?

Exciting partnerships to increase car sharing awareness in Northern Malaysia.

What will you be engaged in?

As our new Business Development & Partnerships Associate you will have the opportunity to:- Business Development

+ Drive new business models: Deal with partners and merchants, coordinate workflows

+ Coordinate with relevant departments to drive new business models
+ Be a do-er for all executional aspects of New Business initiatives and projects

+ Liaise with marketing, business, operation team to drive business and operation structures for the new business model and to communicate it with the public

Partnerships

+ Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local partners

+ Plan, conceptualize and execute local partnership campaigns

+ Monitor and analyse campaigns to optimise performance and ensure maximum ROI on marketing spend

SOCAR Zone Management

+ Securing parking lots for car-sharing spots (SOCAR Zones) based on local characteristics, urban infrastructure and customers' demand.
+ Prevent and resolve on-site issues.

+ Manage parking rates, negotiate with parking lot providers, reduce direct expenses.

+ Experience in sales or similar job positions.

+ Possess a Malaysian driving license with 2 years of driving experience.

+ Candidates with relevant work experience in a similar position as car/ride-sharing business are encouraged to apply.

+ High understanding of urban characteristics.

+ Excellent communication and organization skills.

+ Flexibility to resolve various operating issues.

+ Ability to analyze data and predict flows of service.
+ Experience & exposure in a start-up environment.

+ Fluency in the use of standard IT tools (MS Office etc.)
