Job Description The Business Intelligence Manager will contribute to the implementation of the GBS Procurement Analytics strategy, leading end to end coordination of processes from data gathering to analytics output. The focus will be to enable insights on core procurement analytics by working with senior stakeholders to collect demand & delivering on this using modernized visualization tools like Power BI & Tableau. This role will cover areas of client/stakeholder engagement, reporting & analytics visualization, data management, and continuous improvement. The immediate deliverable for this role will be to reverse engineer current analytics solutions that are in place to make fit for purpose in the new landscape of Procurement tools & processes (Ariba Source to Pay roll-out).
Key Accountabilities
Partner with segment senior stakeholders to collect demand by understanding problem statements, refining requirements & provide insights & analytics solutions on core procurement metrics
Lead production of BI reports/dashboards using Tableau/Power BI visualizations
Develop clear, timely and accurate periodic standard management reports that drive continuous improvement in process and efficiency using automation / self-serve dashboards where applicable
Lead implementation of solutions that will help drive efficiency through standardization & simplification
Improve compliance & control across the analytics solutions delivered
Analyze and prepare presentations that communicate sophisticated analysis and findings in a simple, concise and interpretable manner
Work with IT&S to build and lead sustainable data control processes
Collaboration with the business, its applications, solutions, and with technical architects to understand the implications of data architecture and to improve the value of information across the organization
Demonstrates an understanding of standard data management principles, procedures, and tools (e.g. customer data, vendor data, maintenance data, etc.)
Lead & recommend continuous improvement of processes and adopting the newest technologies and methodologies
Introduce new analytics capabilities in line with GBS Procurement Analytics strategy - This includes predictive analysis & machine learning solutions where relevant
Essential Education
Bachelor's degree in any subject area or related field
Essential experience and job requirements
Able to work on UK shift
Minimum of 8 years' experience in the analytics field covering data management & partner engagement; with 4 years of analytical visualization skills
Must have expertise in the area of modernized data Visualization Tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc)
Proficient in MS Office Tools including advanced excel skills with the ability to produce and run pivot tables, design and manipulate complex graphs, use of macros to drive automation
Experience with Machine Learning and/or Predictive Analytics is good to have.
Knowledge of Procurement Supply Chain Management (PSCM) including Purchase to Pay (P2P) concepts & processes to have is an added advantage
Data science expertise is an advantage
Knowledge of ERPs and procurement systems (Ariba, SAP, JDE) will be an advantage
