ResponsibilitiesResponsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for the company.
Work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors.
Evaluate procurement data and monitor key purchasing metrics.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
Coordinate with internal CFT team and work together with buyers in the ECO roll-in plan to minimize potential exposure.
Provide guidance and support to junior members of the purchasing team.
Handle NPI projects and work with internal CFT team on all material-related issues.
Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP system.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by immediate supervisor.
RequirementsCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of working experience in purchasing/supply chain.
A candidate with a purchasing/sourcing background in the EMS environment will have an added advantage.
