Reporting to the Cluster Security Manager South East Asia, you will help lead Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) for our Malaysia Campuses. You will work with internal and external partners to maintain and enhance the security and safety of Google. You will coordinate physical security, investigations, risk/threat assessments, protective services, travel safety and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs. You may also supervise employees and contractors performing specific security and safety objectives and monitor vendor performance and expenses.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in corporate security/security operations field within a multinational corporation.
- Experience in working with vendors and managing a contracted guard team/group.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems.
- Experience working with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services.
- Experience conducting investigations including criminal, human resources, and safety incidents.
- Proven track record in managing security operations and security personnel and delivering high quality, customer-oriented security programs.
- High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy. Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Manage security guarding across multiple offices and within Malaysia and support planned/unplanned operations, events and special activities as needed.
- Assist with implementations of corporate safety and security standards, policies and practices. Manage the daily operations of vendors providing services including security, training, protective services and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with other groups within Google (HR, Legal, etc.) and external partners (Emergency Services: fire, police, Departments of Environmental Health, etc.) on daily operations.
- Perform data analysis and create benchmarking to support risk assessments and threat identification. Create and present travel briefings as they relate to crime and health risks.
- Partner with Facilities and other Google teams to address security and develop customized procedures to gain compliance with internal and external regulations.
