Cantonese Interpreter

**Additional Incentive**- Work from home- Equipment provided- RM 5,000 sign on bonus (Limited Time)- Responsible for handling telephone or video calls based on demand to render the meaning of conversations in the consecutive mode of interpretation between Cantonese speakers and English speakers.- Ability to process information quickly and concisely, recognize sensitive cultural differences, and is professional and courteous at all times.- Use appropriate industry terminology and understand common industry procedures and practices.**Job Requirements**- Native fluency in English and Cantonese- Advanced skills in cultural dynamics (cultural implication and idiomatic expression) of both Cantonese and English- Completion of at least high school education onwards- Education in languages/translation/interpretation and/or healthcare-related fields preferred- The hiring process will include written and audio language assessments- Must be able to look at a computer screen without significant difficulty or fatigue throughout the duration of scheduled shift- Be able to constantly operate a computer monitor, keyboard and mouse- Must be able to remain in a stationary position during the majority of scheduled shift**Salary**: Up to RM5,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Work from homeSchedule:- Rotational shiftSupplemental pay types:- Signing bonus**Language**:- Cantonese (preferred)- English (required)Ability to Relocate:- Ipoh: Relocate before starting work (required)
