Position: CAST Manager Role Purpose: This role will be responsible for key aspects of the controllership functions in the Center which cover more than 10 countries (in Asia Pacific including India), which include driving the month-end/quarter-end/year-end process; ensuring compliance with accounting policies and local statutory requirements and working closely with the Process Managers in Center and CFO in affiliates on key financial processes and ensuring financials are closed timely and accurately. Key stakeholders include Corporate Accounting, Tax, local finance team, Process Managers in Shared Service Center & Outsourced Provider for PTP, business leaders and internal/external auditors CAST Support Oversee closing financial review in collaboration with Center accounting and local finance team Drive strong internal control compliance in the affiliates and Shared Service Center Work with local CFO and Shared Service Center on execution of control Prepare and monitor annual statutory audits for timely completion; act as an escalation point for major issues that require regional or corporate resolutions Work closely with CoE Tax team on any significant tax compliance issues Key Responsibilities: Managing and developing GBSKL CAST team to ensure that the team have the capabilities and knowledge to complete in cooperation with assigned accounting firm the Statutory financial statements (SFS) filings Leading the cooperation between GBSKL operational team and assigned accounting firm to ensure SFS preparation processes are running on track Supervising implementation and maintenance of controllership processes and initiatives including internal controls and risk management policies and procedures Managing external audit process from Amway side and relationships with assigned accounting firm. Collaborate with assigned accounting firm and assigned accounting firm local offices across countries that this role is responsible to APAC and drive centralization of audit processes Liaise with Internal Audit to validate IA reports, capture and implement IA recommendations working with staff at GBSKL and in the affiliates as assigned Leading the tracking and force the business to ensure that post audit management actions related to assigned APAC legal entities are 100% implemented on time Manage and own the annual ICQ (Internal Control Questionnaire) process for assigned APAC legal entities. Collaborate with Internal Audit team and with assigned entities to complete the process accurately and on time. Coordinate post ICQ improvements initiatives Leads cross functional programs and projects and serves as a liaison between key stakeholders including functional units (e.g. supply chain, marketing, R&D, etc.) and affiliates Performing quarterly trial balance reviews for assigned APAC entities to ensure compliance with financial reporting principles & quarterly certification Provide financial insight and controllership support for improvement initiatives in indirect procurement Conducting periodic compliance reviews and internal controls testing for financial and business processes Leading and owning financial outside services contracting and controlling spend within approved budget Actively contributing to APAC harmonisation initiatives by proposing and developing standardized solutions for complex financial and operational processes for assigned entities Lead other Financial Control projects such as GRC (Governance Risk & Compliance) and Secondary ledgers verifications Developing and supervising the exectuion of quality control processes for Financial Statements Control and auditing of the Balance Sheet Accounts reconciliations to ensure the reconciliations are compliant with the internal policy Develop/maintain APAC Policy and Procedures Manual for assigned entities (possibly a general global version to be adapted by respective entity or one for each entity) Ensure timely completion of all finance related activities that are necessary to reduce the number of legal entities in APAC through legal liquidation process Support tracking service delivery at the Shared Service Center through development and maintenance of a system of KPIs Contribute to other improvements in areas such as Treasury, Tax or Internal Control Support Agile/Lean/Easy Finance initiatives across the assigned entities in APAC countries Work with Process Excellence team and Process Owners on End to End process optimization, validate and implement process improvements, coordinating with the wider APAC organization as required Requirements:

- Candidate must possess at least Finance/Accounting with 8

- 10 years of relevant or close experience with Professional qualification such as CIMA/ ACCA / Chartered Accountant; Knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP Financial Control knowledge (Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax, Internal Control, Risk Management) Experience in preparation of financial statements including Bursa reporting for MY legal entities Experience in reporting processes of APAC wide entities in matrix organization A good working knowledge of systems and pc-based packages, including Hyperion, ERP systems and Microsoft Office Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Management or leadership roles in projects Process improvement expertise Financial Planning and Analysis Customer focused and a team player, able to work cross functionally Intercultural sensitivity – ability to work and influence across different European countries and cultures Job Segment: Supply Chain Manager, ERP, Manager, Supply, Marketing Manager, Operations, Technology, Management, Marketing
