Key Responsibilities:Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial postings to the general ledger and sub-ledgers.
Verify accounts receivable and payable sub-ledgers balance with the general ledger.
Review all journal entries, including recurring ones.
Check bank reconciliation statements monthly.
Identify and review general ledger transactions and trial balance abnormalities.
Review tax computations and provisions.
Communicate with tax consultants on tax computation and returns.
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial management.
Proficiency in financial software and general computing.
Fluent English language skills with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and lead a team.
Malaysian citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to work permit restrictions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
