About the role
As Operational/Site Manager, you will have the full site and operational responsibility. The site is in full operations and has during the last year ramped up to meet the increasing demand in the Chinese market.
You will secure we meet the market demands with high Quality, high Delivery performance - to the right cost. You will work closely with our Sales Company in Shanghai who is selling all the products being manufactured in the Production Company. You will have a close collaboration with our Polish production site that is making similar products and is also a significant supplier to you.
Developing the site is important securing that we develop people and processes to accommodate current and future challenges. As we are making Medical Devices strong and predictable processes is of top priority.
You will have a close cooperation with supporting functions in our Sales Company in Shanghai.
You will be part of the Global leadership team in Production and Supply Chain and report to SVP Production and Supply Chain located in Denmark.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Running the site with high performance of Quality, Delivery and Cost. Develop our site for future challenges and not the least support our Chinese sales company to secure the continuous growth of our products in the market.
Manage and develop the organization according to the needs and keeping a high engagement among the employees. Our success lies in the performance of all our good colleagues.
Quality is of greatest importance of our products. You will as the major responsible person for quality of our medical device products produced in China be responsible of staying in compliance of products and processes.
Having the site responsibility, you will also oversee that our site is fit and compliant to external regulations.
To succeed in this position, you will need to:
As our company is a high-tech company with complex technologies it is preferred that you have a technical/engineering degree.
You will need to be proficient in English as all global communication is done in English. Having worked in an international company would be an advantage.
It is necessary that you have a technical experience from a manufacturing company as a production manager, engineering manager or similar. An experience from working with advanced electric or electronic instrument or devices would be preferred.
Knowledge and experience in working with Medical Devices would be an advantage.
Experience as management representative and certification of ISO13485 will be an advantage.
Minimum 8-10 years of work experience is needed. Hereof 3-5 years as manager at a higher level.
