We are currently seeking experienced individual to join our Banking Operations team within Digital Business Services as a Collateral Management Unit Manager.
Principal Accountabilities: In this role, you are overall responsible for the performances of the Wholesale operations in Malaysia. You are required to be the driving force to ensure that the service levels are maintained at its optimum level, BCP tests and other contingency requirements are in place for uninterrupted service. The jobholder will also continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology. This will be achieved by ensuring all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring. Also by addressing any areas of concern in conjunction with line management and/or the appropriate department. The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators. The jobholder will implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer. The term 'compliance' embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply. Qualifications
Requirements: Bachelor Degree in any of the Arts, or Science disciplines. With at least 10-15 years of working experience, gained from reputable organization is preferred. The role requires that highly effective resource management techniques be employed to manage productivity across wholesale operations processes. Able to lead and motivate staff with widely differing aspirations working in a high pressure productivity based environment where deadlines are critical. Job satisfaction through rotation and staff development is a key requirement to aid retention therefore effective training and resource management is essential. Driven to ensure success of the Bank.
