Commis Chef I/Ii (Pastry/Non-Halal Cafe)

- Assisting head chef, sous chef & chef de partie.
- Able to work with NON-HALAL ingredients.
- Specialized in Pastries.
- Interested to gain more knowledge in fusion cooking encouraged to apply.
- Work within budgeted guidelines.
- Prepare an adequate level of mise-en-place based on business levels.
- Prepare & cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Prepare & cook special meals for clients as instructed by Chef
- Assisting in all kitchen areas during breakfast, lunch & dinner.
- Maintaining health and safety standard.
- Ensuring the kitchen areas are tidy & clean.
- Determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
- Follow the business policies and procedures and adhere to the grooming policies.
- Able to work long hours including during weekends & public holidays.
- Able to communicate in English preferred. Minimum Bahasa Melayu.
