Cost Accountant

Location: Selangor
a.Prepare, analyse and report monthly and yearly gross margin analysis by product,
b.Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, analyse inventory evaluation,
c.Prepare reporting on actual costs vs budget by department,
d.Coordinate with IT department for system issues, maintenance and development such as production, purchasing, import/export, accounts payable, accounts receivable, import/export IT, receiving, shipping, and others,
e.Assist in compliance with ISO implementation,
f.Maintain internal control documentation and ensure internal controls are in place,
g.Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, costs and inventory,
h.Review and analyse inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability,
i.Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and others,
j.Ensure timely submission cost reports, management reports, budget etc,
k.Willing to multi task,
l.Undertake other assigned/ad-hoc tasks as required,
m.Perform other functions and duties as and when assigned by higher authorities.
