An exciting Customer Development Manager (FMCG) job has just become available at one of the most respected global FMCG firms based in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this is a role for a manager who is a leader in their field.

About the Customer Development Manager (FMCG) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest service quality alongside several top management executives. You will also take the lead providing direction to all sales and account management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with consumer/trade leaders and organisations, industry peers and distributors, in order to create positive impact and change to company image and business goals Analyse changing customer needs and market trends, understands how they affect the current and future business, and responds proactively to secure long term business performance Spearhead JBP process with KA customers, to meet/exceed sales, market share, distribution, collection, trade returns and service level target Exhibit a deep understanding of Modern Market Channel, Category Management and Key Account Management Monitor and maintain budget for region of responsibility. Understand the importance of financial against results to determine the worth of investment Coordinate TOP to TOP management meeting with KAs, and to activate in-store business review with key outlets Work closely with KA Sales Operation Manager on all execution excellence

To succeed in this Customer Development Manager (FMCG) role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

Experience and knowledgeable in Retail Key Account Management, preferably in either FMCG or FS environment. Experience and knowledgeable in distributor management (DM), general trade (GT) and modern trade (MT) A Minimum of five years' work experience with direct retail key account management area Experience engaging in joint business plans with key retailers Ability to work together with key retailers directly with minimal supervision required
