We are recruiting for Cybersecurity Specialist for our client, a leading multi-national organization to safeguard their digital assets. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive security measures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's systems and data.**Responsibilities**:- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, investigating and responding to security breaches, intrusions, and unauthorized access attempts.- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.- Configure and manage security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection solutions.- Perform regular security audits, penetration testing, and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.- Stay up to date with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and provide recommendations to enhance our security posture.- Conduct security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and promote a security-conscious culture.- Respond to security incidents and provide incident response support, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.- Monitor and analyze security logs and reports, implementing improvements to enhance security monitoring and threat detection capabilities.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist, Security Analyst, or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.- Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture, with the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities.- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework) and experience in implementing and maintaining security controls.- Proficiency in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus/anti-malware solutions, and endpoint protection.- Experience with security incident response, including incident investigation, containment, and recovery.- Knowledge of encryption technologies, secure coding practices, and secure network design principles.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.**Salary**: RM6,700.00 - RM10,050.00 per month**Benefits**:- Flexible schedule- Free parkingSchedule:- Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):- How many years' experience do you have as a Cyber Security Specialist?- What's your expected monthly basic salary?- Which of the following programming languages are you experienced in?
