Data Analyst

A data analyst's job is to take that data and use it to help companies make better business decisions. This could mean figuring out how to price new materials for the market, how to reduce transportation costs, solve issues that cost the company budget.
Responsibilities:

Analytical Skills: Analysts must be able to analyze and interpret large amounts of data quickly and accurately, providing valuable insights to various departments.
Strong Communication Skills: Analyst’s must be able to communicate effectively and clearly - explaining their findings and recommendations to respective departments.
Critical Thinking: Analysts must be able to think critically and come to logical conclusions based on their findings, sometimes within short periods of time.
Math Proficiency: Analysts must have strong mathematical skills, strong understanding of numbers and how they work and transform them into business insights.
Solid Reporting Skills: Analysts must have strong reporting skills as they will be required to craft or generate reports on a timely basis and on an ad-hoc basis.
Proficient in Data Visualization Tools: Analysts must be proficient in or comfortable with using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
What we seek:

Malaysian nationality.
A bachelor's degree is required in preferred fields such as Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, and any other related field.
1-3 years of experience preferred.
Preferred work experience in Data Management, Business Intelligence and/or On-Demand Sector.
Experience with Tableau or Power BI is a must as you will be relying on those tools heavily.
Experience in minor coding (any language) or macros to automate and improve manual processes.
SQL and Python experience will be an advantage.
Strong MS Excel skills.
Strong analysis skills are required.
