Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing the design, development and implementation of an overarching business intelligence (BI) / data analytics solution with dashboards, analytics and reports to leverage internal and external data assets for strategic decision making.
• Engage stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate these requirements into functional requirements for analytics solutions/platforms/systems.
• Assess data needs and facilitate the acquisition of data from multiple sources.
• Perform data cleaning and pre-processing that facilitate meaningful analysis.
• Support agile projects teams towards results within time constraints in cooperation with project Business Owners, Users, Product Owners and IT Development Leads.
• Drive daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews/demos and retrospective meetings (e.g. in Discovery Design phases of projects).
• Conducts high-level business testing before UAT commences to ensure solutions meet the business needs and requirements
• Works closely with UAT testers and provides UAT support
• Manages projects timeline and monitors progress of the team to identify possible deviations on the project schedule
Requirements:
• Education – Degree in IT, Finance or Project Management.
• Experience – 5+ years of experience as business analyst or data analyst preferably in Insurance domain.
• Good working knowledge in SQL and data analysis (Mandatory)
• Experience in preparing source to target data mapping documents, data dictionary and data lineage.
• Experience working with Tableau / Power BI or other data analytics tools is an advantage.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Familiar in agile and scrum based project development. Agile certification is a plus.
