Job Description

As a business analyst focused on trending and analytics you will manage projects requiring the development of statistical models to provide historical current and predictive views of HR services and operations to support key partners across the organization in decision making.

You will work closely with Program Offices technology operations and other HR organizations to connect disparate data sources to monitor and predict business performance perform statistical analysis addressing business challenges and make recommendations to senior leadership.

In addition you will help drive the future of analytics in GES and Global Shared Services through the development of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications. Your success will be measured by your ability to provide indepth insights and recommendations that solve business challenges as well as your ability to provide highly consumable data to the organization.

What you'll do:

A results driven individual with a passion for data and analytics who can work collaboratively to solve business problems that drive operational efficiencies HR business acumen and communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses and concepts into clear stories that drive action Inquisitive with a desire to learn and teach Analytical and data visualization skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Influence within cross functional teams and within all levels of the organization Analytical critical thinking quantitative reasoning and problem solving skills

What were looking for:

Work closely with other members of the GSS group as well as members of operations information technology and other groups in the HR organization to identify business challenges and find solutions through data analysis Analyze large data sources to understand key drivers of the business Provide workforce planning analysis and modeling Apply predictive modeling segmentation forecasting and machine learning techniques to solve business challenges and maximize business performance Identify research and implement new cutting edge analytics techniques including machine learning and artificial intelligence Manage assigned projects from inception to completion Includes meeting with partners clearly defining the problem or question formulating an approach executing the analysis creating conclusions and recommendations and presenting findings to the organization Provide clear insightful and meaningful analysis that supports decision making Actively participate in the planning and implementation of an impactful data strategy Support training and development of other members within the group Proactively identify and explore opportunities to use data and technology to improve decision making

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Requirements

The candidate must possess a Bachelors degree in a quantitative scientific or engineering field such as statistics mathematics business analytics quantitative psychology computer science or closely related field of study is required 3 years of experience in a similar role Experience with tools such as R Python SQL Power BI Tableau

Preferred Qualifications

HR experience Postgraduate degree Experience with workforce planning Advanced knowledge of analytic techniques such as supervised and unsupervised machine learning statistical analysis timeseries natural language processing and pattern recognition
