JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and automate dashboards, analyses, and reports to support business functions.
Collaborate with stakeholders in Operations and Sales to make data-driven decisions.
Create pipelines and queries in the data warehouse.
Maintain the integrity of the data as the "single source of truth".
Assess KPIs, perform root cause analyses, create recommendations for corrective action, and work with business verticals to implement them.
Be responsible for the accuracy of the calculations of these KPIs.
Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and sales growth.
Be the subject matter expert - the "go-to person" for all things data.
Discuss with the Head of BI to assess if the project is viable.
If deemed not viable, communicate with stakeholders to postpone or reject the project.
Ensure stakeholder peer review focuses on speed data and data accuracy.
Measure stakeholder satisfaction with the whole experience with BI.
For new data requirements, escalate to the Head of BI for decision-making; for repeated situations, Data Analysts can make decisions independently.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or any other relevant STEM degree.
Proficiency in SQL is required.
Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets is beneficial but not mandatory.
Experience with Python, R (or other tools for statistical analysis) and data visualization tools is beneficial but not mandatory.
Experience in analytics and process improvement-related initiatives is beneficial but not mandatory.
Naturally curious with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
