Develop software algorithms and applications to apply mathematics to data perform large scale experimentation and build data driven apps to translate data into intelligence solve a variety of business problems and enable business strategy
Assists business with casual inferences observations with finding patterns relationships in data
Qualifications
Candidate must possess a postgraduate (MS/PhD) degree in field related to Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science and 2-4 years of work experience in the same field
Coursework or 2 years of experience with statistical methodology and machine learning or data mining advanced probability theory linear models
Coursework or 2 years of experience with computer programming for one of the following: SAS, JMP, JSL, R, or Python (preferred)
Experience teaching statistics in a work setting or at university level as instructor or teaching assistant
Must possess strong understanding of internal business segment stakeholders and possess strong written and communication skills
Expertise in relational database structures, research methods, machine learning, Cloud based technologies, Big Data technologies ie Hadoop HBase LuceneSolr analytics packages ie R Mahout Matlab Octave Weka scripting languages ie Python, Perl, and programing languages ie Java CC SQL Inside this Business Group
