Digital Maker Lab Lead Mentor

About the role:Telebort is looking for individuals who are interested in building software and hardware that could radically inspire the young generation to learn computer science and engineering easily at scale. You will be working alongside the Academic Team to create new tools on the cutting edge for STEAM education.You will play an important role in:-Write and review notes, code, and worksheet in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, C++.-Design and build Internet Of Things (IoT) learning tools for young students using MakerUno, Raspberry Pi, Micro:bit and any other related hardware.-Create and improve content for product and technical documentation in STEAM related subjects.-Create and improve learning content in Telebort Core Programs.-Prepare pre-recorded lessons and learning materials such as questions bank, hand on projects, activities, pop quizzes and more.-Conduct weekly online and offline classes with students.-Conduct product training and workshops for school teachers and CSguru.-Build Digital Maker Lab for schools in local communities across Malaysia.-Gain deep understanding of Telebort’s curriculum road maps, lesson plans, teacher handouts, and learning material for students (e.g., student handouts, sample projects, notes, quizzes).-Participate in Telebort’s community events to understand the needs of stakeholders (e.g., parent, student, teacher, and learning center).-Do extra reading in relevant subject matters (e.g., Computer science, Scratch, MIT App Inventor 2, Web design, Python, etc.).
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:-You have an academic background in the Computer Science / Engineering / Science / Mathematics field.-You love teaching and are eager to shape the skills and minds of our next generation.-You know how to create online learning videos and utilize tools for digital classrooms (e..g, Kahoot!, Zoom, Google Drive, and more).-You are fluent in English and are good at communicating your ideas.-You want to contribute positive impacts to society using your skills and knowledge.-You can work well with multiple and challenging projects at one time.-You can work flexible hours.-Having the entrepreneur spirit that willingness to get the job done even in the middle of the night.
