We are seeking aDonor Relations Managerwho is responsible to provide management expertise in the development, implementation and coordination of Donor Relations strategies that will align to the goal and strategy of the organisation.
Responsibilities
Provide overall supervision, leadership and direction to Donor Relations department functions, which include the strategic, financial and human resource planning & development of the department, including the mentoring of Assistant Managers and senior staff with view of succession planning.
Plan, implement and review Donor Relations strategies to strengthen relations with sponsors/donors with the goal of retaining them and reducing cancellation of pledges.
This requires data analysis and preparation of reports to present results and ideas within the department and to higher management.
Work closely and support other departments within World Vision Malaysia to support the organisation's shared goals, participate in Global Centre's initiatives and connect with other World Vision offices (Nation Offices & Support Offices) to share learning.
Qualifications
A degree holder with at least 6-7 years of working experience
Working experience in fundraising, donor relations or similar customer-service engagement effort related added advantage
Demonstrate proven ability in leading teams
Self-starter with strong learning agility, strategic and creative thinking skills
Excellent analytical, communications, planning and project management skills
Ability to deal with fast-moving situations and multi-task
